B&G instruments selected for performance and racing yachts

Navico has secured an agreement to supply the new B&G H3000 instrument system package for Dufour ‘Performance’ and Grand Soleil yachts.

The supply agreement with ISB Group, parent company to the Dufour and Grand Soleil brands, was secured by the Navico teams in France and Italy together with the Navico boat builder team.

“We are delighted that we are able to provide our latest B&G instruments to the Dufour and Grand Soleil dealer networks,” says Jens-Thomas Pietralla, President and CEO, Navico. “We have already presented the H3000 package to the Dufour and Grand Soleil dealer network, and look forward to offering technical advice and support throughout the collaboration.”

The H3000 instrument system will be available as an option for all Dufour ‘Performance’ and Grand Soleil racing models. The flexibility of the system enables a number of different options to ensure the best suited configuration for each boat and its owner.

“B&G is a preferred choice for our racing models, and our alliance will enable us to further reinforce the brand distinction of Dufour and Grand Soleil racing yachts,” says Paul Wuytz, Sales and Marketing Director, ISB Group.

Ideal for these performance racing yachts, the B&G H3000 instrument system is an evolutionary step forward from the highly regarded Hydra and Hercules H2000 systems. H3000 is the first instrument system to use bonded-screen technology with index-matched materials for maximum display clarity. This technology also eliminates any chance of condensation, enabling owners of the Dufour and Grand Soleil racing yachts to view highly accurate data in all conditions.

The sophisticated H3000 Central Processing Unit is the core of the system and has Hydra, Hercules and Hercules Performance level software all in one box.
The H3000 instrument range consists of several displays, including the H3000 GFD, which displays graphical data in colour or monochrome and brings power to the record breaking B&G Pilot. The H3000 FFD utilises the renowned B&G FFD technology and also benefits from a stylish new facelift. For high performance racing, the H3000 analogues offer enhanced accuracy and durability. New additions to the range continue, with the 30/30 mast display to be introduced shortly.
The Dufour ‘Performance’ series and Grand Soleil yachts have proven their outstanding race performance – both have been previous winners of the IMS World Championship.

Today’s Dufour yachts are the result of over forty years of passion and development in boat building. The development of the ‘Performance’ series follows the success of the award-winning Dufour 40 model.

The Grand Soleil yacht range also continues to expand, with the addition of its largest model to date, the Grand Soleil 56' Race, which takes influence from the Grand Soleil racing line.
