Award winning Simrad/B&G stand at 2008 Miami International Boat Show

Navico’s Simrad/B&G exhibit was recently honored by show management as the Best Accessory Display at the 2008 Miami International Boat Show, receiving a beautiful engraved crystal trophy.   The Simrad/B&G exhibit was chosen from among hundreds of marine accessory displays at what is widely recognized as the largest boat show in the world.

”Our booth was designed to be open and inviting to prospective customers — to encourage them to see, touch and experience our full line of navigation, fishfinding, autosteering and communications electronics,” said Paul Comyns, Marketing Director for Navico, Inc.   Comyns played an integral role in designing the Simrad/B&G exhibit used in Miami, as well as at other top boat shows across North America.   His flare for eye-catching graphics and in-depth knowledge of the product line combined to help create an exhibit that is both appealing and customer-friendly.

”It was also our goal to present the products in a realistic manner—much the same way they’d be used on the water,” added Comyns.  ”So we anchor our exhibit with a series of free-standing consoles and helm dashboards, on which we mount appropriate groups of products.  We also provide key features and highlights, making it easy to see at a glance what is new and special about our marine electronics.”
