1- Contact dealers and explain your creating a nationwide advertising campaign on the brand new innovative BR24 system.
2- Explain the campaign is not a general media advertisement but instead a 16 page flyer placed in the most famous magazines in the country. On the back page of each booklet will be an area where a maximum of 30 dealer’s addresses can be placed.
3- In order for dealers addresses to feature on the flyer they need too: Buy a BR24 and an according MFD (NX/HDS/M-Series/NSE) at usual dealer price for their show room.
4- The idea being that that this booklet will drive consumers to the featured dealers shop to find a BR24.
Recently there have been 28 dealers sign up to the scheme in Germany and 31 dealers in Denmark (campaign starts in Jan 10). This therefore led to 59 BR24 and 59 MFDs sold to dealers through this campaign though a simple nationwide wide advertising promotion which had a huge effect compared to usual print media ads. With the whole campaign being re-financed through the Gross Profit out of the unit sales.
Hamburg boat show recently saw the effects of the campaign as Nils Thoss explains ‘We had around 5 people per day on the booth with the Essential Guide in their hand and a lot of people asking for it, and in addition sold more than 20 BR24 at the show’.
In the last week the UK and Italy have rolled out this idea to their dealers and both secured 30 dealers for their back pages. On the time of going to press Spain and France were half way though collecting dealers. By January 2101 285,000 copies of the guide will be distributed across Europe.
