Moving jobs is important. That’s why our recruitment process is built to ensure our role is right for you. Interviews form a core part of our recruitment process. Depending on the role, there may be other steps in the selection process. To help you prepare – and to avoid surprises – our Talent Acquisition team is on hand to support you throughout the entire process. Any questions? Just ask.
At Navico Group, interviewing is very much a two-way process.
Of course, we want to understand if you are the right person for us and our role, but it is equally important that you feel we’re a good match for you.

Regardless of the type of interview you are preparing for, doing plenty of research and planning is key.
The interview Process with Navico Group:
The Initial Interview
If your CV and background are aligned to the vacancy you have applied for, you will be invited to a telephone or video interview with one of our dedicated TA Team.
This initial interview will take around 20 minutes. The purpose of the call is to find out more details that support your application and to give you an opportunity to ask questions.
As an informal call, we invite you to be yourself. Simply tell us why you would like to work for Navico Group and share your relevant experience.
Meet your manager
Our TA Team will reach out to schedule a face-to-face interview with your potential new manager. This will either be in person in one of our local offices or via Video (Teams).
It is at this point that we expect you to be fully prepared. We encourage you to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method to answer your questions.
Meet your team
The TA Team will notify you at the beginning of the recruitment process if there will be a further “second stage” interview.
The second stage interview provides an opportunity to further demonstrate your technical ability, and to meet other key members of the team.
Assessment & Psychometrics
If there is any kind of assessment exercise or the use of Psychometrics, then a member of the TA Team will let you know at the beginning of the hiring process.
After the Interview
Once all shortlisted candidates have been interviewed, you'll be notified of the outcome. We endeavor to get the feedback to you as soon as we can.
